HearSay Clinicians Are Trained Extensively in Literacy

Our Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) are required to have extensive training in areas of literacy, above and beyond the requirements of the Masters degree program. Our SLPs have completed intensive training in the Orton Gillingham methodologies of reading, with additional focus in other reading programs such as the Wilson Reading Program, the Davis Approach to Dyslexia, and the Touch Type Read Spell program. Our staff are well-versed in both assessment and treatment options to address any degree of reading, spelling and written language disorders.

Whether your child needs remedial support to advance their skills academically, or support to a home-school teaching environment, our clinicians can provide any level of support for your child to thrive and learn at a rate that is comfortable and manageable and interesting.
